Between Heaven and Earth - The exhibition brings together the works of five Italian and German artists represented by Galleria Doris Ghetta in Ortisei-Gardena, in the province of Bolzano. Following a number of collaborations in Milan and Zurich, here Doris Ghetta presents her fourth temporary exhibition of her artists – not counting the temporary shows she stages at her own permanent gallery –in galleries and artistic spaces in the major cities of Central Europe. The artists on show work with different media, from painting to photography, from sculpture to installation. The wide-ranging works selected seek to distract the attention of viewers from their own physical weight and let them sink into the depths of the universe or fly up among airy banks of cloud. Lightness and heaviness are poles apart, like above and below, like soul and body, like heaven and earth. In the works on show, everything that is to be found in-between flowers into a multitude of possibilities and nuances.
